Products / Plurodrive / Disaster Fighter

The PLURODRIVE facilitates creation of a unique ‘DISASTER FIGHTER’.

A single diesel engine powers a dewatering pump or a fire pump, and simultaneously also gives emergency power.

All above mounted on a common skid as shown in the picture above, ideal for ships, basements, commercial & residential premises, et al.

The following example will throw light on the working of the disaster fighter.

THE DISASTER FIGHTER

  • FIRE PUMP Horizontal centrifugal.
    Duty - 108M3/Hr at 75 mts.
    MAKE - REPUTED.
  • DEWATERING PUMP CENTREFUGAL-SELF PRIMING.150X150.
    Duty - 100 - 350M3/Hr at 10- 30 mts.
    MAKE - REPUTED.
  • DIESEL ENGINE 90 Hp.
    Make - REPUTED
  • ALTERNATOR 70KVA /1500 RPM, 0.8pf, 50 Hz, 3 Phase, 415V.
    Make - REPUTED
  • PLURODRIVE Rotary power transmission unit. SIM-ALT.
    Make - REPUTED

EQUIPMENT WILL RUN AS UNDER

  • Option 1
Run fire pump with the engine to get 108 M3/Hr at 70 mts. head. Simultaneously, one can also get about 30 KVA power from the alternator with the fire pump working at its full rated capacity. Thus when there is a fire emergency, one can also have the facility of running emergency lights and other emergency equipment as required i.e. one point emergency response. The power output during fire emergency is 30 KVA for the above set. However, the same can be increased or decreased as per specific need and engine, fire pump and alternator ratings can be changed accordingly.
  • Option 2
Fire pump to give 108 M3/Hr at 75 mts. head when alternator is idle.
  • Option 3
Run only engine and all the driven equipments are idle. This is a distinct advantage offered by PLURODRIVE facilitating easy checking of the equipments, before / after maintenance.
  • Option 4
Alternator to give 70 KVA power when fire pump is idle.
  • Option 5
Run dewatering pump with the engine to get its rated output. Simultaneously, one can also get about 35 KVA power from the alternator with the dewatering pump working at its full rated capacity. Thus when there is a flooding, one can also have the facility of running emergency lights and other emergency equipment as required i.e. one point emergency response. The power output during flooding emergency is 30 KVA for the above set. However, the same can be increased or decreased as per specific need and engine, fire pump and alternator ratings can be changed accordingly.
